Driver Helper

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a dependable Driver Helper to support delivery operations throughout Sligo area.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely distribution to customers.

This is a temporary position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading deliveries

• Handle products carefully to ensure safe transportation

• Check delivery documentation and support accurate stock verification at customer locations

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle

• Provide courteous and professional customer service

• Assist with navigation to ensure efficient completion of routes

Requirements

• Ability to perform manual handling and lift items carefully

• Good level of physical fitness

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Manual Handling Certificate (essential – training can be provided if required)

• Previous experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse environments is advantageous

Temporary role as needed.

Pay rate €14.15PH
